PE drainage corrugated pipes
PE corrugated drainage pipes are used for ground drainage systems. Drainage plays a major role in agriculture, construction of sports facilities, as well as roads and buildings in general.
Corrugated (rib-enforced) pipes are characterised by their ‘sandwich’ type structure. The profile of the outer wall provides the corrugated pipe with a high level of rigidity and stability, whereas the smooth inner wall enables the optimum velocity of the water flow. The inside and the outside wall are homogenously joined, and the openings for the passage of water are placed symmetrically along the pipe perimeter and along the entire length of the pipe. The openings are placed inside the grooves of the corrugated pipes, in order to enable the maximum protection of the surrounding filter layer. This allows a high degree of freedom for the access of water. The openings constitute >50cm2/m of area available for water inflow.
These pipes are very light and flexible, firm and resistant to UV radiation. They are cost-efficient and easy to install. Owing to the special production process, the inners side of the pipe is smooth, contrasting the ribbed outer surface. The joints are made using a sand-proof connector.
During installation, a surrounding layer of filtering material may be placed around the pipe. This layer increases the pipe’s inlet capacity and prevents the clogging of the openings.
The pipes are standardly supplied in BLACK colour and 50m coils.
