PE pipes for irrigation
PE pipes for irrigation are used for irrigation of soil or agricultural plantations.
PE pipes for irrigation are made of non-original material, which implies a shorter working life and requires a higher level of security in planning the exploitation conditions.
The concept of non-original material implies PE material that has already undergone the processing cycle. Pipes made of non-original material do not possess either a standard or an attest.
The pipes possess certification for transportation of drinking water.
PE pipes made of re-granulate possess the nominal (outer) diameter in the range from DN 20 to DN 63 mm, as well as the working pressure of between 6 and 10 bar.
They are supplied in balk as the standard colour, with co-extruded green lines, bearing the following markings:
- * Nominal diameter,
- * Kind and type of material,
- * Working pressure, PN,
- * Manufacturer’s sign and year of production,
- * Length in metres
The connections can be in the form of separable and inseparable joints:
The separable joints are made using connectors, and can be made of polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and cast iron (LG).
The inseparable joints are made by welding: Butt welding and Electro-fusion welding
